Shawn Davey is a senior creative leader with over 15 years of experience in omni-channel luxury fashion & brand. Specialising in maximising the potential of large scale, multi disciplinary creative teams across campaign, content and e-commerce studio.

 

Currently based in Dubai as Director of Creative for Chalhoub Group, the leading partner of luxury, fashion and beauty in the Middle East operating across 8 countries and over 600 stores.

Notably, Shawn spearheaded the development of β€˜One Studio,’ a cutting-edge creative hub that delivers world-class, localized creative solutions for Chalhoub Group-owned brands and partner brands in the GCC region. This strategic initiative was pivotal in supporting the group’s expansion into the E-commerce sector, where Shawn led both internal and external teams in the design and execution of a purpose-built studio location while establishing a centralised content team to operate from the new One Studio Campus.

Previous to this Shawn held the position of Head of Art Direction for Selfridges&Co leading an in house team of 60+ creative talent. In this role, he created a considered and conscientious synergy between visualising e-commerce studio & creative content within the Selfridges brand.

Originally hailing from London, Shawn’s early career found him contributing to the design and fine art world, with his work being exhibited by Olfur Eliasson at ReykjavΓ­k Museum of Contemporary Art as part of the Serpentine Galleries touring experiment marathon exhibition.

Later while leading the art department across photoshoot direction, graphic design, UI and video content as Art Director for The Outnet, YOOX Net-a-Porter group, Shawn worked with supermodel talent in creating numerous global 360 ad campaigns across print, digital and out of home.

Shawn’s unassuming, super creative and thoughtful approach has been acknowledged in his many career achievements, including being awarded a Gold Clio award for his social media campaign work.

A keen understanding of the creative role in commerce for both, in-house brand and external agency, continues to drive Shawn to develop new business into profitability and helping established brands translate into new territories.
